Alkamix
Cleaning and degreasing liquid
Usage
The cleaning and degreasing liquid ALKAMIX is used as replacement for commonly used cleaning and degreasing halogenated liquid, mainly for cleaning and degreasing of metallic surfaces contaminated with oils or cutting lubricant emulsions, while providing a short-term anti-corrosion protection. For the optimum application properties of the product, the liquid is to heat up for 24 h at the temperature 25 to 30oC in dry room or heat up the liquid directly in the degreasing equipment to the same temperature.
General characteristics
The cleaning and degreasing liquid ALKAMIX is a mixture of alkanic hydrocarbons and refining agents for the best soaking of the objects to be degreased. It shows an excellent cleaning and degreasing effect on metallic surfaces also providing an anti-corrosion protection for them. It doesn’t contain water, chlorinated compounds nor mechanical impurities. It is an inflammable Class III, the explosion hazard Group II, pursuant to the STN 65 0201. A.

Packaging and storage
Cleaning and degreasing liquid ALKAMIX is delivered in barrels and containers. It is stored in tightly closed containers on sites protected from weather influence at -5 to +30 °C. The shelf life, if conditions are observed, is 2 years from the date of production.
Work safety and health protection
Cleaning and degreasing liquid ALKAMIX is not toxic. As to its impact on human body, it is classified as matter with the middle biological activity (II. B). When handling it, it is therefore necessary to use protective equipment (rubber gloves, goggles, protection dress etc.). The remaining product after its use is to be adsorbed in porous material (such as perlite) and incinerated. Do not eat, drink, smoke during handling the degreasing liquid and observe the hygienic rules as well as those of health protection at work using the petroleum products.
